GEOAMBIENTE® S/A obtains INPI patent for innovative remediation technology for farmland contaminated by agrochemicals

GEOAMBIENTE® S/A obtained a patent from INPI (Brazil’s National Institute of Industrial Property) for a remediation technology aimed at farmland contaminated by agrochemicals. The solution uses micrometric activated carbon to remove toxic contaminants, protect soil and groundwater, and reduce fallow time — the period needed for the land to recover its nutrients.

The technology allows soil to regenerate and return to cultivation more quickly and efficiently. Sustainable and compatible with common agricultural equipment, the innovation represents a significant advance in environmental management and the recovery of contaminated farmland.
